WHY IS THIS PROJECT IMPORTANT TO ME
I am honored to be involved in “Joemanland.” No matter how suicide ultimately finds a family, the aftermath lasts forever. Ann Cabano has worked through a journey encompassing every emotion there is, and at the end of the day, her message is that a mother’s love is eternal and never waivers. Her commitment to sharing Joe’s life and her own journey following her beloved son’s death is an uplifting message and a reminder to live each day to its fullest, enjoy the small moments and always cherish those you love. Through Ann’s creative lens, I endeavor to share and celebrate Joseph Cabano’s life and legacy.
BIO
Lynette Carrington has been “seeing stars” since she appeared in her first movie “Junior Bonner” with action movie icon Steven McQueen when she was only a toddler. Fast forward a few years, she relayed her ongoing love of all things having to do with performance, theatre and film into modeling and acting, ultimately landing a career in the world of media.
She is currently the marketing and event specialist at AZ Big Media, the managing editor of Arizona Health & Living Magazine, the executive editor of ItsJustMovies.com and a contributing writer to AZBigMedia.com, Gilbert Lifestyle Magazine, VivaPhoenix.com and other publications.
As a storyteller, Lynette conveys a wide range of business knowledge, as well as emotion and humanity in her features, regardless of the medium in use.
In her work in the entertainment industry, Lynette worked for many years as a publicist for actors, directors and independent films. Additionally, she has done consultancy work for singers, actors and models, and worked as a writer and location scout for various entertainment projects. She also currently serves on the board of directors for the Chandler International Film Festival and routinely conducts interviews on select red carpets.
