Joey exemplified a spirit of caring. He was always looking for ways to express a gentle kindness inherent within him. As a humble spirit born as a male child he found very few examples. So he gently sought elsewhere, anywhere for a way to make his world better.
He choose Love❣️As his “God Mother” I had the privilege of being questioned to understand complex human behaviors; petitioned and plagued by the eternal questions of why and how someone would dare to act ungodly when joy and kindness was so much easier and a lot more fun…and enduring. Questions of Harmony and balance. Joey was keenly aware of higher realms of choices.
As he grew I had the privilege of seeing him express higher order abstractions. He began to develop his own style of loving in fine and unique ways. He knew he was different.
While carrying the mantle kindness caused him pain, he fought a brave fight. “ There are some men to gentle to live among wolves.”
Loving has a price! Choosing the path of love is an acquired art. The beginning is always dangerous…for while you’re happy giving it out, you desire to feel it returned. That’s only natural. The trick is we often try to choose where our Love comes from and that never works out well. As was the case for our Joey “Think not that you direct the course of Love, for Love if it finds you worthy, directs your course.” Ghibran
Joey left behind so much Love, in acts of kindness and caring. I am doing this movie to support Joey’s loving reach and just maybe along the way to help bridge the gap for others.
