In my late 20's I hit a low moment. I went into a "Grey Zone" mentality- where it seems like the most logical thing to do was to see if I could move into the next plain by shoving myself out a window through a glass pane.
The only thing that changed my mind was I wanted to see my daughter grow up into the beautiful caring person she is today.
I have seen too many of my male friends who go by societal standards and decided to either end it all at the end of a pistol or attempt to leave this life-and me having 2 o'clock in the morning talks with them to convince them not to. They do not feel heard and feel like there is no other way out.
I want these men to have a voice that mental care is not an unmanly thing, or something they need to be afraid of, and they can build a happy life and live strong.
